Return & Refunds

At Memotails, we hope you love your personalized and standard products. However, we understand that sometimes returns or exchanges may be necessary. Please review our policies below to ensure a smooth process.

Return and Exchange Window

  • Standard Products: You have 7 days from receiving your product to return it for a full refund or exchange for an item of equal value, depending on product availability.

  • Customized Products: Due to the personalized nature of these items, they cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a quality issue or manufacturing defect.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Customized items once shipped and received without quality issues.

  • Products showing signs of use, wear and tear, damage, scrapes, or missing manuals and accessories.

  • Items with visible scuffs, marks, or free gifts included in the order.

Return Process

  1. Contact Customer Support:

    • Email MemoryTails at support@memotails.com to initiate a return.

    • Include your order number, complete delivery address, and contact telephone number.

  2. Obtain Return Shipping Information:

    • Our customer service team will provide you with a return shipping address or a prepaid shipping label if applicable.

  3. Ship the Item:

    • Choose your preferred logistics company at your own cost, or use the prepaid shipping label provided.

    • Properly pack the product to avoid damage during transport.

    • Inform us by email once the product is shipped.

  4. Inspection and Refund:

    • Once the returned item arrives at MemoryTails’ warehouse, we will inspect it.

    • Refunds will be processed within 5 business days after receiving the returned item(s).

    • Refunds may not appear on your credit card statement until the following billing cycle.

    • Refunds will be issued based on your original form of payment (PayPal, credit card, debit card, etc.).

Shipping Costs for Returns

  • Products with Manufacturing Defects:
    Memotails will cover shipping fees up to $20. Contact customer service to start the return process and receive a prepaid shipping label.

  • Products with No Manufacturing Defects:
    You are responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • If shipping items over $80, consider using a service with tracking or purchasing shipping insurance. Memotails cannot guarantee successful returns without tracking.

Important Notices

  • Do not include your address on the package. This may affect the return process.

  • Returned items must be in original, unused condition with original packaging. We do not accept worn, damaged, washed, or altered items.

  • If you receive a damaged or defective product, contact Memotails Customer Service within 24 hours of receipt.

Double-Check Your Returns

  • Ensure you are returning the correct items. Memotails is not responsible for non-Memotails product returns.

  • Our return policy is valid only for products purchased directly from Memotails.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
